Review:
A very good IR thermometer
This is a very good IR thermometer. It was sent to me for review and I've found
it well made, accurate and simple to use.
The first thing to say s that this is a proper,
professional-standard tool. It is made
of extremely robust plastic which will stand up well to the general battering
it will get in a toolbox. It can give
readings in both °C and °F and has a range of -50C to +850C so it should cover
most normal applications. I find it
excellent for checking different areas of my fridge and freezer, for
example. (The results were a bit
alarming, and I've adjusted both!) The
laser-guides make it very easy to use just as you wish and it gives accurate
readings (so far as I can tell).
There is a range of useful functions – hold, log, emissivity
and so on – but I suspect that most users, like me, will just want a
quick-reading, accurate thermometer.
You'll get one with this. I'm
impressed with it's quality and can recommend it warmly.
