Review:
A very good messenger bag
This is a very good messenger bag. I was sent a sample for review and it's smart
and of good, robust quality.
The bag is quite small.
The dimensions given are accurate, (8.6" W x 10.2" H x 3.9" D) but be aware that the
main pocket is only about 2.5in (less than 6cm) deep. It's big enough to take my 8" tablet and
in the lining there is a zipped pocket which would take a phone and a couple of other little pockets for pens and
small objects. There's also a front
pocket with a magnetic closer and a more secure zipped pocket on the back. The bag is smart and compact but it's designed
more for personal essentials than for a whole day's college supplies, for
example.
It's very well made.
The materials are good quality; the canvas is durable but quite
flexible, the lining is very nice, the strap is very strong and the zips and
fastener are good. Stitching is very
solid and neat, and the whole thing has a very durable, rather classy air about
it.
As always on-line, be careful with the colours. My brown bag is *very* brown – much deeper in
colour than it appears on the page here, so I think the other colours will be
deeper than they appear, too. Not a
problem, but something to be aware of.
I think this is a very nice bag. I can't fault it for quality and it's neatly
designed and practical. If you're after
a small, neat messenger bag for your everyday essentials this will do you very
well, I think.
